RNE have recently undergone the approval process to deliver the internationally recognised Pre-Hospital Trauma Life-support programmes (PHTLS) accredited by North Association of Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT). These courses are specifically designed for the pre-hospital clinician wanting to develop their knowledge and skills further in the pre-hospital environment.
This is a great programme that can help develop any clinician in a challenging, safe learning environment. Due to our experiences within the technical rescue environment, we believe we can incorporate the PHTLS course into our specialist rescue programs: technical rope rescue, swift-water and flood rescue and confined space.
The team at RNE have experience in managing casualties in difficult environments which we think will give our learners a positive learning experience”.
