Paul has been involved with the world of rescue since joining Teesdale & Weardale Search & Mountain Rescue Team at the age of 18 (That’s over 28 years ago!). He is a fully certified Advanced Rescue 3 Instructor and has delivered courses throughout Europe. His passion for working in the outdoors, especially the Rescue environment, and encouragement from numerous candidates who had attended his courses eventually led him to create Rescue North East Ltd. He is proud to have 100% positive feedback and an ever growing reputation for delivering a high quality service. This makes him the first port of call for many different organisations; cementing his reputation as “a problem solver”. Industries that currently use his advisory expertise include the UK Emergency Services, Renewable Wind Energy and the Construction services.

Paul and all of the instructors used by Rescue North East are practitioners; they all work within the environments for which they deliver their training, rather than being instructors who teach straight from the manual! Paul has helped several teams set up, maintain and implement operational sectors to their organisations. Paul is always willing to discuss procedures and systems with anybody who has an inquiry.
